The Rose and Crown, Ivinghoe

Owlswick were delighted to find The Rose and Crown ( Twitter ) down a quiet residential, one way only, lane in Ivinghoe.

It was quite by chance that we ended up there and all because one of the Owls was on holiday in the Chilterns, coming from Northamtonshire. Owlswick come together as a side from more than one County, hence our May Day Tour takes us across four Counties.

So we all piled into the traditional English Freehouse which was established way back in 1690, had a drink on the house, thank you so much for that R&C you were very welcoming to us!

The rain stopped and out we went to dance, just The Morris outside, and then all back inside for some clog, appalachian and music.

Brian and Ellie came along, Brian owns our mascot a live barn owl called Ellie. Here is Ellie with a new friend at the evening in question.
